the bills continue their last half downward spiral as the boys take this one 28-14. it all happened because of fuad's jig that immediately followed the opening kickoff. bills come out running as bailey takes them from their own 10 to the boys' 30. kelly overthrows a wide open craver, and that set the tone for the bills the rest of the game. bills are held to a 4th and 8 when breech with plenty of room kicks it right into dotson for the block. 3 plays into the cowboy drive the bills anticipate pass...well at least the coach did. no cowboy received coverage as flipper waltzes into the endzone. 7-0 cowboys the bills make their way downfield on their 2nd pos. setting up a strike from kelly to easy ed. 7-7 the boys use their patented clock control and score under the same pretense as their first TD with a mere :25 left in the half. 14-7 cowboys boys open the half to a deflated bills defense. mcmillan refused to jump--or even run to the ball! while qbeagles dominated with effective use of the qb sweep left. the drive ended with a timed JJ to flipper, while mcmillan watched ...comfortably?...from the 2 yd line. 21-7 cowboys the bills' first play of the new half brought an injury to jkelly. the very next play, mel gray would find 66 yds of green grass and then some blue grass. 21-14 cowboys more of the same offensively for the boys as they easily gain yards finished off, to the chigrin of bills fans, by a blown sack from lazy defenders as qbeagles used a blocker to bump cox and walk to the endzone. 28-14 cowboys wilhelm gets his moment to shine, but doesn't quite have the arm to make it the length of the field. pollard would get an interception for stats as time expired. GG, berger. I must say when the bergster doesn't fumble, his offense is very effective.
