wk. 12 bills @ falcons this was a nailbiter due to the 2 fumbles for TO from bailey and pickens. it killed pickens's stats, but probably helped bailey's.
bills get first shot. their first play from the line of scrimmage is a johnny bailey fumble, which clearly went out of bounds, but back in before the refs could see. falcons recover on the bills' 28.
thurman would run it in 2 plays later. 7-0 falcons
kelly would find craver to set up a big run from bailey, who would take it to the 2 yd line. he would find the zone next play to tie it up. 7-7
the falcons would put together a nice hard-fought drive only to find themselves at 4th and 9 from the bills' 15. the FG unit comes on and puts the birds up 3. 10-7 falcons
with a li'l under 2 mins in the half johnny bailey breaks off a huge 80 yd TD run. 14-10 bills
a nice diving CC to duncan would set up a final FG attempt from morten from 55 yds out to end the half. it would sway wide right, and the half would end.
the falcons again would put together a grind it out drive with marinovich's legs leading the way, but todd would also find the mcpick waiting on the 10 to intercept.
the bills were well on their way to putting this one away--esp as kelly hit a wide open streaking carl pickens. pickens would get speared at the falcons' 25 and fumble it over to another falcon defender to give the birds new life yet again.
3 big back to back to back sacks from harvey, les miller, and scott davis brought up a big 4th and 21 from falcons territory. marinovich elects to pass. unfortunately he passed poorly, and the bills take over at the 50.
bailey got nowhere on first down. 2nd down brought a j.kelly scramble. 3rd and 2 brought a dump pass to bailey, who would proceed to find the endzone to seal the game away. 21-10 bills
todd would find a diving dawsey on the blitz as time expired.
i thought the falcons had this one. the bills' D stood up, though, after a scare against a struggling eagles team last week. i believe this also chalks another one up for the NFC if palmer is reading this.

interesting note: bills ran 13 plays--only 11 recorded plays (minus fumbles)
falcons ran 32 plays.
evidently it only takes 11 plays for the bills to score 3 TDs in a game
