Week 8 Dal vs Miami Wow, crazy game. The Cowboys turned it over 3 times in the 1st half, but were able to overcome a 14 point second half deficit thanks to a jumping INT by Kyle Clifton and another INT by Kirby Jackson who is the leading INT man for the Cowboys the last 2 seasons. QB Eagles was ineffective in the air going 5-8 w/ 2 TD's and 2 INT's, but he added 5 carries for 153 yds which was the difference. GG Altony, GG the rest of the way.

Miami, FL - In a game that has flowed the way the Dolphin season has gone so far, The Dolphins blew a 21-7 halftime lead and lost to defending Super Bowl champs 35-28. The game featured 2 injuries and 8 turnovers, none more critical than the jumping Kyle Clifton INT in the 3rd that changed the game around.
Neal Anderson fumbled on the 'Fins 2nd play from scrimmage and Gaston Green would capitalize to take a 7-0 Cowboy lead. Miami would counter with a long TD pass from Favre to Givins. QB Eagles was then intercepted by Ricky Reynolds which led to an Anderson TD and a 14-7 lead. Dallas then shifted to the ball control game to drive and score to close the half, but a Flipper Anderson fumble gave Miami the ball back. 2 plays later, Givins would score again for a 21-7 lead with 1:30 left in the half. QB Eagles would again be picked off, this time by Dale Carter. But the Dolphins FG attempt at the end of the half sailed wide right.
Eric Kattus would be injured on the return of the 2nd half kickoff. Dallas would put a drive together but would end on a fumble by Green. Miami would then take major gamble that failed. A "Good" Elway came in for a "Bad" Favre. Elway's 1st pass was picked off by a jumping Clifton. Green would score on the next play to close the game to 21-14. After an N. Anderson run, Elway's next pas was picked off by Jackson. QB Eagles would find F. Anderson to tie the game at 21. 2 Plays later, N. Anderson would fumble and give the ball to the Cowboys again, and QB Eagles would score to give the Cowboys a 28-21 lead to end the 3rd. N. Anderson would be hurt on the next drive, forcing Rozier in at RB. Elway finally found some form, and would hit Givins for the tying TD with 2:00 left. QB Eagles would hit off a 60 yard run to get Dallas in range, and F. Anderson would get his 2nd TD to break the tie with :45 left. Miami would get 2 plays, the 2nd play being a misply by Berger which left Givins wide open for the tying TD, but Elway would overthrow him as time ran out. GG, Berger, maybe next time I'll get you.
