Week 8 Bengals vs Broncos
BENGALS 25, BRONCOS 14 Totally queer game of Tecmo this was. Palmer goes up 14-0 courtesy of: 1) a 55 yd CC TD to Robert Brooks in the face of Everson Walls 2) a 60 yd Humphrey TD run where I got thrown and there wasn't a drone in sight for about 5 miles 3) Picking my play 6 times out of 10 plays in the 1st half DEN 14-7 at the half. I score quickly after the half to tie it. I force a FG attempt but LT tackles the holder. I am driving for the go ahead score when the strangest play I have ever witnessed in Tecmo occurs. I fumble on the goal line, Broncos pick it up and are tackled nearly immediately - for a SAFETY! 16-14 Bengals. That was unreal. So Palmer gets it back again, CCs his way into FG range again, and LT tackles the holder AGAIN. So it's still 16-14, he calls my play 3 plays in a row and forces punt. I blitz LT the first play and it's another safety. 18-14. I hit Mark Jackson for 80 yard TD (mostly running for it) as time expires to make it 25-14 final. Weird game. GG (I guess) Palmer and GL to ya the rest of the way.
