Week 5 Recaps Broncos 35, Cowboys 21
In this divisional battle of unbeatens, the Broncos prevail in a 35-21 defeat of Randall Cunningham and the Dallas Cowboys.
The Broncos burst out of gate, scoring in four plays on their first drive and jumping out to a 7-0 lead. On the Cowboys' next possesion, Cunningham, under pressure, forces a pass downfield that was intercepted. The Broncos drive a short distance and scored another TD, making the score 14-0.
The Cowboys were forced to play catch-up all day, as their defense had trouble stopping the run. The Broncos scored on every possession.
Denver's defense had their hands full, too. They were determined not to let Randall scramble, and he did anyway, leading his team in rushing with 168 yards on 5 carries.
The Cowboys are tough, so future opponents better watch out!

When you become a good player, youll be able to actually make a mistake and still have a chance.
Berger + Mistake = Snowball + Hell = Berger - Cunningham

Oilers over the Steelers 21-7 in a intra-divisional game. Gary ran well for Houston and Jerry Rice seemed ill for Pittsburgh as he was quiet for most of the game.
Good game Eamon.

week 5 GB v. NO New Orleans prevails for its first win of the season 21-17 in a good inter-division battle. Very close game throughout, and NO was put over the top by a gutsy (see also: stupid) call to go for it on 4th and 3 inside the GB 10 yard line with the score at that point in favor of GB 17-14, and less than two minutes to go. Gary Anderson gets the first down, narrowly missing Kevin Greene, and two plays later Warren Moon hits Andre Rison in the back of the endzone for the game-winning TD.
GG sowa, and good luck the rest of the way.
