Week 3 Recaps, Make sticky!

SF vs GB This almost beats the WTF game had vs Palmer last week.. This one was just plain out stupid, seriously! GB gets the ball to open game.. SF plays great D and forces Kelly to pass the ball to covered WRs on 3rd down and gets INT'd. SF scores a play or two later, 7-0. SF kicks off, plays great D and then Kelly has to throw it to covered WRs again on 3rd and long and is INT'd again. SF scores a couple plays later.. 14-0 SF. This is where it starts to get stupid! Now it's 2nd Quarter.. QB Ken Obrien is in bad now, Thurman Thomas in BAD now, along w/ Art Monk and Ricky Sanders... see what's happeneing here? MY QB was perfect in the 1st Quarter, 3/3 w/ 2 TDs and Thurman ran the ball nicely on like 4 carries. GB has the ball and afte solid D again by SF GB is 3rd and 20 something.. SO Sowa decides to toss it up to Martin his WR. SO there you have it, JJ, CC = TD, SF 14, GB 7 w/ 2 min left in half. GB kicks off and after a decent return by Mueller OBrien decides to pas bc he's 3/3 so far w 2 TDs, even though he's in bad. Well he gets sacked on picked pass 4 and of course fumbles it.. TD Green Bay and now 14-14 w/ 20 seconds left in half. Still got a play off and was int'd as half ended. 2nd half more of the same shit, Thurman and OBrien stil lin bad as well as rest of game. Sowa picked my play 8 out of the next 10 plays and the 1 time he didn't after I drove the field Dick Johnson came from who knows where to int OBrien agian while Gary Clark was in the endzone w/ nobody for 10 yards. Of course when I had Dick DIck he couldn't get a f-ing INT an entire season, but here he flies from 10 yard away and dives to INT Gary Clark in the endzone.. Gary Clark that is, yes.. the same Gary Clark that is in the top 5 of all WRs in the game, that Gary Clark! 21-14 was the final, good comeback Sowa, wasn't your fault at all and have to take these types of wins whenver you can, but I'ld be dammed if I were to ever be the other side of it.

Yeah total luck on my side of the ball and no luck on yours. I have been on the bad side also when QB bills 81 pc throws it to Eric Martin 69 Rec and it gets picked by a LB.

SEA 28 - CLE 14 The Hawks played pretty well in this one. Meggett and Boomer were balling and a late fumble by Cleveland sealed it. GG Mort

Broncos 38, Dolphins 21
Broncos 38, Dolphins 21 djean played very well. I think he scored on every possesion. As for the Dolphin offense, well we would be down 21-0 before we even ran our 3rd play from scrimmage, thanks to a couple of fumbles, and we would lose three fumbles in the game. QB Dolphins threw for 250+ yds and ran in his first (and probably last) TD this season. GG.

Dal 35 KC 21 QB Eagles was masterful in this one going 10/14 for 243 and 4 TD's and adding 6 carries for 56 yards. He was pretty much the difference, GG Sstruck, GL the rest of the season

LA RAMS 17 NE PATS 14 Vogt and I carry over our game from OSTL in this one with big plays in the 1st Half and stifling DEF in the 2nd. However, I had no business winning this one as vogt clearly knew my plan down at his 20 yard line, with a little under 30 seconds to go in the 4th QTR. He called my Shotgun Pass 2 three straight times. Vance Johnson pulled the last one down from Majkowski at the 5 yard line and evaded the speedy NE defenders for the GW TD. A bad way to end the game given how this one played out. GG vogt and GL the rest of the way.

BENGALS 21, BILLS 0 Bengals blank the Bills and still haven't given up a point this season. Rathman had a nice KR to begin the game, got across midfield before being brought down. A couple Roger Craig runs would follow, and a pass from Montana to Jessie Hester out of the reach of Deion would put the Bengals up 7-0. Bills would go 4 and out courtesy of an overthrown 4th down pass to Givins that looked like a certain TD. Alas, it wasn't meant to be, and the Bengals would take over and punch it in a few plays later on a pass from Montana to Rathman. 14-0. Bills get it and start to move the ball a little bit, but they fumble on a called play, Joe Nash picks it up, and runs it back for the score, 21-0. At this point, we lost connection soon after. No foul play, just one of those things. But at any rate, we agreed to play another half and combine the two scores. The second half played was uneventful and scoreless. I have NSM of both halves if anyone needs them. I haven't uploaded an .sta yet, will wait on ruling as to how commish wants to work it. Since stats are of very minor concern, I don't care if the .sta gets uploaded at all, so long as I get credited for a 21-0 victory in the end. GG CDR and GL this season.

PIT 31 RAI 12 Kid, what happened back there? You made a mistake, just accept it and quit whining and claiming I "Moved your arrow" even though I couldn't, the game doesn't let you. For those who don't know what happened, Kid accidentally kicked a FG on 1st down when the game was still pretty close. He's then all "You did it, you moved my arrow, you suck WAH WAH WAH" Didn't even wish me GG afterwards. I honestly don't know why I let you back into the NTL. I remember that after I let you back in, another NTL member told me I shouldn't have. Now I can see why.
