SF 35 ATL 0 Warren Moon 7/12 for 158 and 2 passing tds Bo Jackson 12 Rushes for 177 yards 3 rushing TDs Brent Jones 4 receptions for 77 yards - 2 tds 4 sacks for the SF defense, Ronnie Lott with 2, and he also had a 3rd that when he popped Marinovich like a brick shithouse Todd crumbled up like a new born baby into a little ball not even realizing he fumbled the ball until he was on the sidelines 5 minutes later being recapped from his coach. The sack that turned into a fumble was scooped up by the SF d-line so Lott didn't get credit for it. Defensive POW all the way! ATLANTA: Todd Marinovich 9/11 163 yards passing Thurman Thomas 8 for 53 yards 1 sack and 1 interception of Moon GG CDR, the luck was on my side recovering 3 fumbles and injuring Thurman Thomas in the 4th Q. San Fran showed up to play as they should have all season long! The offseason will be interesting to see what kind of help will be brought in via the draft, as well as if the roster can avoid any big hits and not age or retire at key positions. Moon and Ronnie Lott both have 1 more year on their contracts so not an issue for them to age or retire, as well as Brent Jones who for the 2nd straight season is the #1 Tight End in the WTF without a close 2nd place finisher in sight is eligible for a Progression Gain and can only hope that the percentages work in his favor bc the SF team without a star WR needs Jones to be a monster year in and out for them to compete.. Never know though in the WILD WTF OFFSEASON!
