Washington Redskins Grades for 1992 & brief outlook for
We finished at 5-10-1 for 1992. Grades by Position for 1992: 1) QB - Klingler had a tough year, 42% completion percentage and threw 19 picks with only 12 Td passes. Washington is looking to upgrade either through the draft or via trade in 1993. *Klingler has been unofficially traded to another team. Trade will be announced when allowed.* Grade = D- 2) OL was solid for the most part, but youth is needed. Grade = C+ 3) WR - The wr corps needs another playmaker besides GClark who is aging. This is a pressing need for the Skins in 1993. Grade = C 4) RB - Watters electrified the stands again this season rushing for 2181 yds and 26 td's on the ground. Trade rumors are swirling around Watters, but it would take a strong offer to lure Watters away from Washington. Stay tuned. Grade = A+ 5) DL - solid but needs a playmaker to help disrupt opposing passers. If Strahan is on the board when Washington is up, hmm... Grade = C- 6) LB - defense definitley needs a fast LB who can do some damage. Grade = D+ 7) CB - db's actually had a pretty solid yr. Rookie Kevin Smith finished with 6 int's, Brett Maxie finished with 5, and Marcus Robertson had 3. Can never have enough good DB's, Washington is still in need of more quality. Grade = B 8) Special Teams - Kicker straight up failed. Costed Washington atleast 2 games this season. Grade = F Hopefully the Dicemaster is kind this year!

One thing to keep in mind is that teams with a good to great qb did much better than teams with a average or below qb. Of course thier are some exceptions but I think it huge factor in having a good team. Seattle 63 pc Pitt 81 pc Sandiego 56 pc Giants 56 pc Bengels 69 pc Chiefs 56 pc Bills 81 pc

Seattle 63 pc Pitt 81 pc Sandiego 56 pc Giants 56 pc Bengels 69 pc Chiefs 56 pc Bills 81 pc Having a 44-50 pc to a 56-63pc is a huge difference. I felt it this season. Blake had a great season based on the 56pc and just being able to run around with 25ms also help matters more.
