The result of my playoff game vs Coolpapa
This is all I'm posting.... Nothing else for me to say here.... Nope.... This game needs no recap... Like they always say, a picture is worth a thousand words....

I will post a recap later as I am still settling down from this one. I will try and recap as best as I can, however, I don't think any recap can do this one justice. CPR

SD 20 KC 17 1st QTR SD begins by driving the ball down to the KC 15 yard line by way of Boomer Esiason passes and Emmitt Smith scampers. However, the KC DEF forces SD to kick a FG (3-0). KC is forced to punt on its first drive as DT gets 2 sacks for a considerable loss of yards. SD again takes the ball down to KC’s 15 yard line and has to settle for another FG to begin the 2nd QTR as Esiason is unable to connect with Emmitt Smith on a pass (6-0). 2nd QTR KC begins to drive the ball with a mix of Johnny Johnson runs (TD) and Testaverde floaters that lead to KC’s first score (6-7). On the ensuing drive, SD takes the ball downfield to 50 yard line only to have Emmitt Smith fumble a reception into the hands of a KC defender. KC’s Johnny Johnson begins to run for a few short gains before fumbling the ball and giving it back to SD. Esiason goes for the bomb to end the second half and gets INT’d by KC’s Wayne Haddix. 3rd QTR This QTR was all KC as Testaverde and Johnny Johnson (rushing TD) provided the offensive spark to bring the score to (6-14). Likewise, the KC DEF stiffened up by not allowing Emmitt Smith any running room as well as clamping down on SD’s streaking WRs. 4 QTR SD begins the QTR by failing a 4th down conversion and allowing KC to nail a FG close to the SD 15 yard line (6-17). On SD’s ensuing drive, Boomer Esiason is forced to heave a pass to the KC 20 yard line where Wayne Haddix is waiting for the INT. However, he fumbles the ball and SD OL Grant Feasel picks it up for the score (13-17). On KC’s next drive, the OFF gets some big plays out of Testaverde to take to ball down to the 50 yard line until Johnny Johnson fumbles the ball into SD hands on a run. Boomer Esiason makes a first down run, and with a little over 40 seconds left in the game fires a pass to a diving Tim Brown to put SD ahead and escape (20-17). As you all can see, I did not beat Eamon today (yesterday)- TECMO did. Moreover, I did not deserve to win with the way I played. This has been the way SD’s season has gone this year, streaky play and lots of luck. Eamon, you were and still are a great sport both during and after the game. I am sorry the game went down like it did. I wish you the best of luck next year. As for me, I am going to take what I was given and do what I have to do. SD’s playoff horizon is waning and may never get this chance again. CPR

This is a lesson to us all alway run out of bounds if your chances for getting more yards is slim. I just played an OSTL where I did not take this advice and fumbled 4 times for a loss.

CPR gave a good recap, but if you havent watched this game, that recap cant do the game justice. I bet Eamon runs out of bounds every chance he gets from now on. And CPR did not mention that his final TD pass went right by Haddix's head. He wasn;t completely on line but it's Haddix and I think it shold have been blocked at the least. If I were Eamon, my controller woulda been a helluva lot worse! It was a great game to watch tho and would recommend it to everyone!

There were more Fumble recoveries in that game than I had on defense the entire season!
