The 1993 WTF College Draft: Available Wide Receivers Major thanks to Paulie for doing all of the bios for the Wide Receivers!
All WR will have RP of 69 and HP of 13, as per the original ROM. No major studs in this crop.
Happy drafting!
Name: Curtis Conway
Position: WR
College: USC
Outlook: The son-in law of Muhammed Ali, Curtis Conway played in an explosive offense at USC with future pros Johnnie Morton and Rob Johnson. Conway isn't the fas-*test*-('") burner but has sure hands. A first round talent and probabaly the best wide receiver in the draft.

Tecmo Comparison: John Taylor
Name: Sean Dawkins
Position: WR
College: California
Outlook: This consensus All-American from Cal is coming off an distinguished college career. While not the fas-*test*-('") receiver in the bunch, Dawkins uses his size (6-4 215) to fend off defenders and make those clutch grabs. He is a suberb compliment receiver and has the potential to be a number 1. A solid mid-round selection for a team in need.

Tecmo Comparison: Vance Johnson
Name: O.J. McDuffie
Position: WR
College: Penn State
Outlook: This two-sport star played baseball and football at Penn State under legendary coach Joe Paterno. He set numerous records there for all-purpose yards, as he is a stellar kick returner as well. McDuffie has some of the most sure hands in the draft, but his speed will most likely cause him to fall in the draft.

Tecmo Comparison: Jessie Hester
Name: Kevin Williams
Position: WR
College: Miami (Fla.)
Outlook: Williams is coming out of Miami University, but will need to step it up to make it at the Pro level. He is decent at many things but great at none. He could add nice depth for a team, or even step in as a second receiver. A late round pick.

Tecmo Comparison: Mike Sherrard
Name: Victor Bailey
Position: WR
Outlook: Bailey will seem to have a short life span in the WTF, if he gets drafted at all. He is slow and does not have particularly good hands. Look elsewhere for receiver help.

Tecmo Comparison: Derek Hill
Name: Qadry Ismail
Position: WR
College: Syracuse
Outlook: The Missile, brother of the Rocket, Raghib Ismail. Though he might not be as fast as his brother, he has better hands than Rocket. In intriguing prospect. Will the missile be a boom or bust?

Name: Vincent Brisby
Position: WR
College: NE Louisiana
Outlook: Brisby is coming out of unheralded Northeast Lousiana University. Brisby has above average hands, with average to below average speed. Not flashy, but could become a solid contributor if he is put in a place to succeed.

Tecmo Comparison: Stanley Morgan
Name: Troy Brown
Position: WR
College: Marshall
Outlook: A wide receiver with potential stud written all over him. Has can catch anything thrown his way. He has amazing ball control, and will rarely lay the rock down. Too bad he is the slowest player since Steve Deberg. His speed will not allow him to become a true number 1 receiver right away, but with the right game plan and coach Troy Brown can be groomed to be a star. However his speed, or lack there of will cause him to fall into the middle to late rounds of the draft.
