The 1992 WTF College Draft: Available Offensive Linemen A good crop of offensive linemen this season...enjoy!
RS and RP are 25/69 for all, as usual.
Name: Bob Whitfield
Position: OL
College: Stanford
Outlook: A big reason for Tommy Vardell’s college success is Bob Whitfield, who constantly opened gaping holes for Vardell to run through. He should be able to step into anyone’s offensive line immediately and contribute with his good combination of speed and power.

Tecmo Comparison: Eric Moore
Name: Ray Roberts
Position: OL
College: Virginia
Outlook: Roberts was a stud on Virginia’s offensive line while in college, and it seems likely that he’ll be a success in the pro game. He is a bit on the slow side but is an excellent blocker.

Tecmo Comparison: William Roberts
Name: Leon Searcy
Position: OL
College: Miami (Fla.)
Outlook: Searcy is a top-notch offensive lineman who should be a major upgrade for a team in need of help at the position. It should be said, however, that Searcy has been slightly injury-prone in college and some question his durability, which could hamper his play and shorten his career. In terms of pure skill, Searcy is among the crème de la crème of this year’s college crop.

Tecmo Comparison: Harry Galbreath
Name: Eugene Chung
Position: OL
College: Virginia Tech
Outlook: Chung is attempting to become the first Korean to play in the WTF and it appears likely that his dream will come true on draft day. He won’t be a great lineman but should be serviceable enough to find his way onto a team.

Tecmo Comparison: Tom Thayer
Name: John Fina
Position: OL
College: Arizona
Outlook: Fina isn’t the most skilled lineman in this draft but he’ll be good enough to find himself a starter in the league, probably for years to come.

25 44 20
Tecmo Comparison: Mark Dennis
Name: Greg Skrepenak
Position: OL
College: Michigan
Outlook: Skrepenak is a massive beast of a lineman who is still pretty quick for a man his size. He lacks great technique in blocking but can get away with lesser ability due to his 6’6”, 330 lb. frame. Skrepenak is also very much a team leader whose locker room presence should prove beneficial in rallying the troops.

25 44 30
Tecmo Comparison: Eric Andolsek
Name: Troy Auzenne
Position: OL
College: California
Outlook: Auzenne is a similar talent to Skrepenak but has slightly less upside. He would be a good late round gamble for a team in need of an average lineman.

Tecmo Comparison: Steve Trapilo
Name: Siupeli Malamala
Position: OL
College: Washington
Outlook: Tonga native Malamala, besides having one of the coolest names in this year’s draft, is a beast of a lineman who packs a solid punch as a blocker despite average speed.

Tecmo Comparison: Keith Van Horne
Name: Jeff Christy
Position: OL
College: Pittsburgh
Outlook: Looking for an instant stud on your offensive line? Here’s your man. Christy is fast, an exceptional blocker, and durable. He’d provide an upgrade to any team’s offensive line.

Tecmo Comparison: Gary Zimmerman
Name: Larry Tharpe
Position: OL
College: Tennessee State
Outlook: Tharpe performed well for a lesser college program at Tennessee State, but whether he can transition his game to the WTF remains to be seen. Scouts are not too high on him, but some think he can be a serviceable pro.

Tecmo Comparison: Mike Schad
Name: Darryl Ashmore
Position: OL
College: Northwestern
Outlook: Ashmore is a decent lineman with good upside who should sneak his way onto a WTF roster in the 1992 season.

25 44 20
Tecmo Comparison: Kevin Glover
Name: Brian Bollinger
Position: OL
College: North Carolina
Outlook: Bollinger isn’t likely to provide any kind of upgrade to any team’s offensive line. Pass.

Tecmo Comparison: Danny Villa
Name: Tom Myslinski
Position: OL
College: Tennessee
Outlook: The slow but serviceable Myslinski is a successful college lineman from a solid program at Tennessee but is probably not going to make any great waves in the WTF.

Tecmo Comparison: Jamie Dukes
Name: Rod Milstead
Position: OL
College: Delaware State
Outlook: Milstead is the veritable definition of an average lineman. This Division I-AA product has worked himself onto the radar with some solid performance at the scouting combines. He would be a good late round pickup.

31 56 20
25 44 20
Tecmo Comparison: Dave Cadigan
Name: Jerry Ostroski
Position: OL
College: Tulsa
Outlook: Ostroski is yet another average lineman in a draft chock full of such players. Again, a late round selection could prove fruitful as Ostroski has decent upside.

19 38 10
Tecmo Comparison: Rory Graves
Name: Kendall Gammon
Position: OL
College: Pittsburg State (Kan.)
Outlook: Gammon is best known for his skills as a long snapper. Such a specialty player is ill-suited to the WTF—he is not well-regarded for his blocking skills but is known to be quite fast and not a liability on special teams. Unfortunately, it’s pretty unlikely that Gammon will find himself a team on draft day.

Tecmo Comparison: Jim Juriga
Name: Ed Cunningham
Position: OL

31 44 25
Tecmo Comparison: Todd Kalis
Name: Gene McGuire
Position: OL
College: Notre Dame
Outlook: McGuire is best noted for his above-average speed on the offensive line. Unfortunately, he isn’t a heavy hitter and is prone to being overmatched by star defensive linemen.

44 50 20

Tecmo Comparison: Rich Moran
Name: Curtis Whitley
Position: OL

31 50 15
Tecmo Comparison: Ron Heller
Name: Cal Dixon

Tecmo Comparison: Jim Sweeney
Name: Jay Leeuwenberg
