The 1992 WTF College Draft: Available Defensive Linemen For defense I did not include RS/RP. The following will be true for DL/LB/DB:
If a player has 19, 25, 31, or 38 MS: RS/RP will be 25/31
If a player has 44 MS, RS/RP will be 25/38
If a player has 50 MS, RS/RP will be 31/38
If a player has 56 MS, RS/RP will be 38/44
If a player has 63 MS, RS/RP will be 38/50
If a player has 69 or 75 MS, RS/RP will be 4456
This is consistent with the "ordinary" alignments on the original ROM that we will be trying to emulate.
Without further adieu, here's the defensive linemen....
Name: Steve Emtman
Position: DL
College: Washington
Outlook: Emtman comes to the WTF fresh from the 1991 NCAA Champion Washington Huskies and was no doubt the best player on that team, winning the Outland Trophy and Lombardi Award in the process. Many are worried that Emtman is injury-prone and could simply be an average pro lineman, but there are those who believe that this guy is the real deal and could be a force on the defensive line.

Tecmo Comparison: Les Miller with great upside
Name: Marco Coleman
Position: DL
College: Georgia Tech
Outlook: Coleman possesses the size, speed, and strength to be a good defensive lineman for years to come in the WTF. He possesses the versatility of being able to provide quality run defense in the middle of the line or as a speed rusher off the edge. Coleman was an all-conference performer in college and most scouts are in agreement that he is among the top defensive lineman in this draft.

Tecmo Comparison: Renaldo Turnbull
Name: Alonzo Spellman
Position: DL
College: Ohio State
Outlook: Fresh off a college career that saw him voted team captain of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Spellman comes to the WTF as an average defensive lineman. He possesses strong leadership skills but lacks the speed and tackling ability to be a force in this league. A late-round selection is probably in the cards for Spellman.

Tecmo Comparison: Leon Lett
Name: Chris Mims
Position: DL
College: Tennessee
Outlook: Mims is a good lineman but little more than that. He hits well and is good at clogging the middle against the run, but is not fast enough to generate much of a pass rush. Serviceable but not spectacular.

Tecmo Comparison: Shawn Lee
Name: Robert Porcher
Position: DL
College: South Carolina State
Outlook: A small-school product, Porcher should develop into a good defensive lineman capable of generating a strong pass rush while not being a liability in run defense.

Outlook: Harris projects as an average lineman with decent upside. Will not wow anyone with his ability but has a good motor and plays hard.

Tecmo Comparison: Markus Koch
Name: Shane Dronett
Position: DL
College: Texas
Outlook: This Longhorn product was part of a stellar college defense, but will his penchant for sacking the quarterback transfer well to the pros? Most scouts say no, but there are some who believe Dronett could be a force if unleashed in certain situations. Time will tell if he can be anything more than an average lineman.

Tecmo Comparison: Ron Stallworth
Name: Chuck Smith
Position: DL
College: Tennessee
Outlook: Smith was a stellar college lineman whose stock has risen greatly in the past few weeks after earning MVP honors at the Senior Bowl. He has the potential to be an All-Pro performer but will need to polish his game in order to reach those heights. Above-average in every way, Smith would make a nice late round selection.

Name: Larry Webster

Outlook: Webster likely will have a hard time making the field in the WTF but could find a home on a team’s practice squad for the 1992 season.

Tecmo Comparison: Jeff Lageman
Name: Keith Hamilton
Position: DL
College: Pittsburgh
Outlook: Hamilton is a great physical specimen but unfortunately has had some off-the-field problems that have affected his draft stock. There’s no denying he could be a solid addition to someone’s offensive line but at the same time he could be a liability if the inner demons come back to haunt…

Tecmo Comparison: Les Miller
Name: Roosevelt Nix
Position: DL
College: Central State (Ohio)
Outlook: Nix is unlikely to find a home in the WTF. Some think he could be a solid run defender but his small school profile suggests he may have a hard time adapting to the pro game.

Tecmo Comparison: Scott Mersereau

Tecmo Comparison: Wayne Martin
Name: Sean Gilbert
Position: DL
College: Pittsburgh
Outlook: Gilbert is a fantastic talent with great ability to stuff the run and get to the QB. Some scouts fear that he’s a little slow to be a premier pass rusher but others think he’ll be among the top defensive forces in the game in due time. No doubt, this man packs a powerful punch and should be a Round 2 or 3 selection.

Tecmo Comparison: Michael Carter
Name: Chester McGlockton
Position: DL
College: Clemson
Outlook: “Chester the Molester” is a world-class fatass with tremendous ability to send offensive lineman flying onto their backs and hunting down the quarterback with ease. A huge, hulking presence, McGlockton has a hard time speed-rushing the QB but should be a valuable commodity at nose tackle.

Tecmo Comparison: William Perry
Name: Marc Boutte

Name: Roy Barker
Position: DL

Tecmo Comparison: Dan Saleaumua
Name: Santana Dotson
Position: DL
College: Baylor
Outlook: Dotson is one of the premier defensive talents in this draft and could be a first round selection. This guy can run, hit, and generally cause havoc in opposing backfields. Some are skeptical of Dotson’s ability, however, and that could send him spiraling down the draft board.

Name: Corey Widmer
