Any way out of my division? Bpk and I are the only ones with hosting issues, no? I want to play 16 games. Thanks.

i'll trade division with you, ghost. i think a good division change--rearrangement may be in order anyway. anybody else feeling the way i am, or am i the only one bitter about having better records than the AFC and still not making the playoffs?

You or whomever. I'm just sick of the albatross around my neck. Even if I was in the playoff race, I'd be fucked if couldn't play some games. I already struggle to pull wins off, and it's just extra baggage that I don't want to have to worry about during the season. Answer my prayer, ROM gods.

Yeah I think this needs to be addressed. Thier seems to be a big disparity due to massive turnover on the AFC side Urlocal, Kid, ect...Any ideas on how this would be accomplished? And is this normal in tecmo leagues as I know it does not happen in the NFL. Maybe we can do based on record for this season. How about giving up a draft pick to get out of a particular division?

I think just being 1 of the 2 non hosters in the same conference no less the same division is a good enough reason to switch. I don't think he should be penalized for that by giving up any picks.

I think it may be time for a little bit of realignment to address this issue. Best might be to take an NFC team and switch with Ghost or BPK. It's clear to see that the NFC has been superior to the AFC so perhaps moving someone like Brookston or CPR or Lefty into the AFC would achieve more balance. I'm not up for moving people just to move them but this issue with hosting does need to be addressed. It would have helped if BPK had not misrepresented himself as a hoster prior to the season.

Everyone should be able to host. I mean maybe if they gave me some of time I could set them up. Or is there some twilight zone reason why they cant host?

also i would like to stay in the same division as berger so i am guaranteed two wins against his sorry excuse of a team every season.

Lord, I dont think that he misrepresented himself - I think he moved into a dorm or something that limited his ability to host. Over the summer or when home he could host if my memory serves me correctly. 'This may be just a one year 'glitch' I don't know. One thing about this that everyone should keep in mind is that teams talent goes in cycles. I am in a keeper fantasy football league that is 15 years old. People have asked for total realignment since the inception but it is very short sighted. You have to let the cycles play out over years and not overreact after only a few. Heck, we arent even past the gauranteed contract stage yet so I would vote no against any realignment "to balance it out". The only alignment changes that I would agree to is for hosting purposes

I too agree with Swamp. I have explained before that this type of divisional talent is mostly cyclical. In the long run these things have a history of evening out. With BPKC and CDR taking over for two talented owners, they are going to need a little time to re-construct their team, the way they see fit. Now I don't wanna beat a dead horse here, because I have a feeling you (Lord) already have a plan for re-alignment. All I ask is that you take into account the long term effects, and understand that these things will eventually even out. I mean no major sports association would do this, because they understand teams go through talent phases. Hell, the Bulls and the Eastern Conference dominated the NBA for so long, and now the Western Conference is the dominate one. Plus, I for one like the rivalries that are forming from having the same division foes. It is good for moral and excitement. I do favor re-alignment whenever dealing with hosting issues however. There should be no reason with only 2 non-hosters that Ghost shouldn't be able to complete a full schedule. He or BPKC need to be moved so all of us can have complete schedules in the future. All right, I am done.

That is exactly what I am saying. We're moving one of BPK or Ghost to the NFC for next season. For hosting purposes. That means one NFC owner needs to move to the AFC. We're not talking full realignment here. I was thinking moving someone like Lefty or CPR or MRTSB or Brooks would be a good fit. Keep in mind that two of the juggernaut/highly skilled owners in the AFC are no longer in the league (Urlocal and Kid--no offense to their replacements CDR and BPK who have done admirable jobs and have played well). I don't want to disrupt rivalries too much but it would seem that taking a decent, above-average team from the NFC would help offset these losses. And yes, BPK did misrepresent himself because he told me he could host when I let him back into the league. It's not like he didn't know he'd be living in a dorm for the entire spring. At the very least he could host when home on breaks and whatnot but it's my understanding that he was home for spring break all last week and failed to make an attempt to get the games played with Ghost.

Switch one team over and that solves the issue of hosting. No other reason to realign other than that IMO. If I was to move anyone over to AFC I really feel it should be someone from the NFC BEAST/BEST. I think moving Arn to AFC and sending over Ghost works the best. Seems like they may be equal in skill level.
