i am Al Davis, an i agree

Isnt there only 4 rounds??

LordSummerisle- 01-03-2008

Let's just say "last" round. This draft (1992) may actually have five rounds if I look at the number of retirements and feel it's necessary.

Palmer2ChadFor6- 01-03-2008

I like 5 rounds...aging and retirements are taking their toll!

BigFatPaulie5- 01-03-2008

This trade was made before we knew exactly how many rounds we were going to be drafting. In our deal, it was just assumed Kid would get my last rounds pick, whatever they happened to be. Since it was 4 rounds last year, he got my 4th round pick. If it is 5 rounds this year, he would get my 5th round pick.

eh i dunno how thats fair....trades should be set in stone...not flexible like that... i dont care really...not like i have many draft picks for the draft anyways....just stating my opinion

Let's just say "last" round. This draft (1992) may actually have five rounds if I look at the number of retirements and feel it's necessary. i think with free agency and practice squads, 5 rounds shouldn't be necessary. i understand that some people only have 1 practice squad member left, but that's mainly due to the fact they never drafted them in the initial 1990 draft; therefore, i think they should have to deal with the consequences of that. just my thoughts.

LordSummerisle- 01-03-2008

It isn't flexible if the teams agreed that it would be the "last round" pick traded, since they did not know how many rounds there would be. Clearly they assumed it was going to be 5 and it ended up 4 last year. This year it could end up 5 (probably not).

BigFatPaulie5- 01-03-2008

eh i dunno how thats fair....trades should be set in stone...not flexible like that... i dont care really...not like i have many draft picks for the draft anyways....just stating my opinion Well like I stated earlier, it was our first WTF College Draft so we didn't know how many rounds we would have. The picks were just a throw in, so Kid would be able to field a full roster. I mean you should be happy. Your team has an extra last round selection.

bpkcchiefs- 01-03-2008

ah....eh...an extra last round pick...lol that gets my panties in a bunch...its all good
