NFC East Outlook: By Oiler owner himself, Lefty.
CPR- Super Chargers. CPR led this team to a great season. Emmitt put up season record yards, finished second in rushing touchdowns (27), and led them to the playoffs. The chargers played the Chiefs in the NFC first round. After watching the game, the Chargers got huge breaks and ended up winning the game. However, shortly after that, they lost to the dominant team ran well by Lord himself. Emmitt and the Chargers had a successful season, and hope to do so again. Needing help in the front line, with only one high hit power offensive lineman, CPR drafted rookie Chris Gray in the first round. Chris Gray is a huge add to this Charger roster, and looks like he’ll give Emmitt just that last second to cut the corners…
MRTSB- New York Giants. MRTSB had one of the better records in WTF finishing 10-6 but came up just short of the playoffs. Him fantasizing over Cat did him no good and took his mind off the game. Only having a 4th round pick, MRTSB drafted RB/WR Glyn Milburn. Milburn looks like he’ll be played maybe at the RB 2 spot, or possibly a wide out as he impressed his coaches with the great hands he’s got during training camp. Hopefully this fourth rounder will keep MRTSB’s dirty mind off of the field and bring his Tecmo game, and send them to the playoffs.
Palmer- Denver Broncos. Palmer had an all around great team, with a lil lack at the Quarterback spot. Steve young just couldn’t get the job done in clutch situations. During the offseason, palmer made the trade of his lifetime, one in which he possibly regrets. He traded Gill Byrd, who is possibly the best defensive back in the league as of right now, and some other players he wanted to get rid of, for the Oilers first pick overall, and their 11th pick. Drafted first was Quarterback Drew Bledsoe. Drew looked to have a chance at being a stud, but is just another average WTF quarterback. With the 11th pick, Palmer drafted rookie Brock Marion, hoping to replace the one and only Gill Byrd. However during the training camp, it looked like Brock and his college buddies did a lil to hard partying and did absolutely horrible, giving him the worst attributes he could get. This is a huge damper in the Broncos backfield and looks like they will have to come out with a huge game plan to take this team to the playoffs.
Arncoem- San Francisco 49ers. Arn finished fourth behind team palmer. Arn had a sick offense with the help of this trio: BO, Moon, and Pritchard. However, D lacked a little talent, at both the linebacker and the defensive back position, where they had no hands. During this offseason, Bo aged but still was an Emmitt Smith. Arn felt he needed to make a change to his team, so he did. He traded Bo to Seattle, for a new and improved Amp Lee, 1st round 12th pick, and 3rd round 12th pick, and it looks like this trade hit for the 9ers. Hoping to add some depth in this 9er defense, 49ers first pick was Linebacker Chad Brown. Chad Brown is a huge increase at this linebacker corps and will find his way to the starting role. With Arns second pick in the 1st round, he selected Defensive back Willie Williams. Willie is definitely a stud on this team now. He adds speed, quickness, and the ability to catch the ball, so that now, this 9er defense will no be CC’d on. Great draft by this 9er team, watch out for them this upcoming season.
Chiefs Jr- Washington Redskins. Washington finished last in this division at 5-10-1. Washington hopes to greatly improve their season this year and hope to find their way to the playoffs. Washington lacks at the defensive spot greatly. But with his first pick he drafted the rookie stud, Ray Buchanon. Ray looked like he was going to be a 1st overall pick, but wasn’t for some reason. He had a great chance to be a replacement in many teams but held out and found himself a starting role in Washington. Chief Jr upgraded big at the defensive back spot, and hopes to turn this team around and try to have a better season. With a couple nice pickups in the draft, it may not be hard to do so.
