KidPro's Trade Fiasco This issue never got dealt with. The KidPro issue got dealt with, but not the trade issue.
Lord, in talking with you, I believe this is a fair assessment for Lefty and Swamp. Both players will get second round picks this year, since the deals were through no fault of their own. Lefty will pick first since he had a worse record. Lefty pick 2.15A, Swam pick 2.15B. This seems like a fair resolution.
Now onto the Raiders franchise. I completely understand BPKC is not at fault here, but his team did reap rewards from trading away a second round pick they did not have. Without trading away that phantom pick, the Raiders franchise would not have acquired David Megget. Kid had already traded his second round pick away next year (93') to myself, so my feeling is that the Raiders franchise should be without a second round pick in 1994. This is not BPKC's fault, it is just cleaning up the mess Kid left behind.
Thoughts, Opinions?

I like this resolution.
I don't like penalizing BPKC for something he didn't have anything to do with. But the franchise should have to pay some penalty, sooner or later, for that trade. After all, it's the reason they have Meggett who is their best offensive player. I'm all for having both Lefty and Swamp pick back to back in round 2 this year and having the Raiders lose their 2nd rounder in 1994.

guess this doesnt matter....but im completely down with not having a second rounder in 94...i realize kid fucked up and that seems fair to me

Sounds like a done deal to me. There will simply be 19 picks in the 2nd round in 1994 instead of 20.
The Raiders' 2nd rounder in 1992 is traded to both the Oilers and the Steelers with those two teams picking consecutively. Oilers pick first due to worse record between the two teams.
This issue is DONE.
