Not saying I'd vote for him but I think you have to put Emmitt on the list as one of the options at least. Probably Barry in my opinion, although he really shit the bed come playoff time. None of us probably really knows how good Jim Brown was, or what kind of numbers he could've put up (like Barry) if he hadn't quit so soon. LT will no doubt be in the mix if he keeps up his present pace for a couple more years. Payton was great because he adapted as he got older and changed how he ran to suit what he could physically handle. Was a speedster early on and then became a bruiser with age. I would also nominate Gale Sayers for the list although I would probably not pick him over pretty much any of the others. I've always been interested to see if Terrell Davis was a product of a good OL or a great back in his own right. Oh, and Dickerson and OJ should be at least come into the conversation as well.

Like I told BPKC...Barry had amazing talent and was awesome on the field...but he quit. From what I've heard, he was not injured so thats not an excuse (like Jim Brown) and I heard the Lions would not sign an offensive lineman who Barry wanted cause it was an old friend of his. I dont care if he played on a shitty team...thats no excuse to quit in my eyes. He was awesome on the field...but he turned his back on his fans and quit. Ill take Walter with that being said. P.S. Since Miami won a game...fuck NE...now I want them to lose since Miami wont go winless!

i put jim brown on there to satisfy paulies homerism with the browns....ill never put emmitt on a list like this he was a product of a great line....dickerson and oj were amazing but....not grea-*test*-('") of all time couldnt put LT on this bc hes just not quite there yet...give him a couple more seasons and hell probably own this list.....
