Bengals/Chiefs
I went 2-0 against the Chiefs in a couple of games with Eamon. First game was a nail biter in which my offense played pretty poorly. Defense was good though and held the Chiefs out of the endzone until 30 seconds left. Still, Eamon recovered the onside, but some drones prevented a game-winning endzone reception by Ellard from a good-condition O'Brien. 14-10 Bengals, and not exactly the way I planned for the preseason to begin. Luckily the Bengals shook off the rust about halfway through the 2nd game and really started playing some solid ball. Chiefs went up 10-7 but the Bengals reeled off 28 straight points to win 35-10. LT was everywhere and prevented the Chiefs from having too much success on the ground. Newcomer Leonard Russell had a workmanlike 100 yards including a nice looking 40 yd TD run in the 2nd half. Everett fared much better in the 2nd game. Odd fact...no INTs for either team in the two games. Eamon did play pretty smart by hoisting it up to Ellard every chance he got to prevent INTs. Fulcher couldn't manage a single jump INT on O'Brien which is kind of rare (69 int on 50 pc should INT 50% of the time). I think Fulcher was in Bad condition in both games because he had trouble getting to a couple of balls that he usually seems to flag down. GGs Eamon.
