I have no qualms with this trade, but if Lord were to repeat as Super Bowl champ, his 4th round draft pick would be the last of the draft. AKA you could have gotten the same player in free agency for nothing. I guess Michael Irvin's cocaine addiction was enough reason to run him out of town.

I made this deal w. the thought of this year's draft being 5 rounds, not 4. If there are not and only 4 then I gave Irvin away for nothing more than the last pick in the draft. Never know Tom Brady #199 Thanks for te heads up though Big-P.. I should have considered that being an option but Irvin did the Ickey Shuffle so fast out of SF that I didn't even have a chance to say goodbye, let alone consider what pick getting for him.

I read somewhere it said 5 rounds. Is this incorrect?
