An explanation for the BS tonight
I made a deal with Acole that he would meet with me tonight. We had made a split second decision to get rid of his team without waiting for midnight to roll around. Acole hit me up at 11:57 PM, technically following the terms of our agreement. He will stay on as owner of the Giants for now, with the caveat that the first fuckup of any variety will result in his immediate expulsion from the league, with MRTSB in the wings to take over the team. This probably infuriates some of you who wanted MRTSB back in the league. We know he's a good owner and is a vocal participant on the boards. But Acole has been a good owner when it came to the latter half of the draft and he did well to get his games played once he figured out his Nesticle problem last year. He deserves to keep the team for now. He leads a busy lifestyle and shouldn't necessarily be punished for that. I apologize to MRTSB for making him think he had a team, and to the league for the oddities some folks may have seen on the boards this evening. Vent here if you like.

He said he'll be checking the board for draft picks and like I said, he did play the games. He also knows he's on the thinnest of thin ice. Seriously, one more fuckup and he's gone, no qualms about it. This time though, he did technically do what was asked.

My question is this: Hasn't Acole had this same ultimatum every couple months. He has been kicked out of the league like three times and let back in every time. I have nothing personal against him, but if you can't commit, please let someone else in who can. This stuff hinders the league. I agree with Fat1. Yes, it is true. I have layed the following rules down on Ahole. Consider them probation. 1. He must get all his games in ON TIME. This means that those of you who will be playing Ahole will need to give 150% to get the games in ON TIME. 2. Ahole has agreed to put us all on an AIM list and BLOCK us whenever he is unavailable to talk. Id rather have a guy on 2 times a week and ready to do business than a guy on 8 days a week who never answers IMs. I understand everyone has a personal life and 9238475 other things that come before tecmo. HOWEVER, if you are ON and visible, i expect any owner to be able to get a hold of you for any League business. Therefore, if Aholeis VISIBLE, he is accessible. If he is VISIBLE and not answering IM's, that is a violation and will result in temination. This is not too much to ask. Take care of your personal business. If you have too much personal business, take a leave of absence. We will accomodate any devoted owner. However, we will not tolerate those who are not devoted. Ahole, *welcome* back. You were an original recruit of MINE and i want you to do well in the league. However, you must meet us half way and give enought effort.

I like MrTSB he has a passion for tecmo an unhealthy passion. But he would be good for this league with his witty banter and good tecmo skills! This is like the Rex Grossman situation in Chicago. But I will support what every you guys decide!! I definitely would love to see MRTSB back in the league. I think he's good for any league because he likes to keep everyone involved and of course he's a good player. You know he's going to play all the games as soon as the ROM is released every week. He'll be back at some point probably not too long into the future.

IF I MISS a IM or 2.. doesnt mean im ignoring.. and i should not be booted... however, if im available for 24 hrs and do not respond, that i understand.... but you have to understand that sometimes people are just around the house and not RIGHT at the comp, if i leave the comp or plan on leaving the comp for an extended period of time, i will have an AWAY up that says, im not here or available... or i will simply have you all blocked.. if i have to rush out and cannot take the time to block you guys one by one.. ill simply sign off, or again, put up and away stating i'm not around... I plan on doing my best.. I have had a lot of unexpected business to tend to... and i can see this happening to someone else in the future and i hope they are granted some slack.. for i did do a good job and being an attentive owner up until the past few weeks... thanks.

In addition, after his probation began, he was late getting me his ABC list, missing appointments that he himself set. Im sorry to have you go Acole, but you did not meet the terms of your probation. Thanks everyone! I have turned a new leaf and am grateful for another opportunity to serve as an owner for the New York Football Giants.
