Berger - QB Eagles = Opus - Barry!

Nobody noticed that Opus is still really good? you guys should check out OSTL standings if you want to say berger sucks without eagles... gripsmoke is learning the hard way. Also, as an aside: Last season the AFC had 100wins and the NFC had 104, so the NFC was marginally better (ofcourse there were forfeits from URLocal quitting). However, the sample size from both seasons is much too small and especially from this season so far. No conclusions can be drawn from that. The only HARD facts that we know of for certain are that the AFC currently holds the title and that my boy, MRTSB is smoking crack if he thinks that he could have taken his raggedy team from last season and made the playoffs in our conference. Ask kidpro how hard it is to make the AFC playoffs - he is a good player and had a good team to boot.

I WILL be repeating this season. I'm like a young Shaq, I kinda get bored during the regular season, then come playoff time it's game over. For all you guys (Lefty, MRTSB, Palmer, etc, etc, etc) who miss the playoffs year after year in the weaker conference, I understand why you contribute to this thread, it's all you really have going in the WTF.....but if u really wanna rep your conference, STEP YOUR GAME UP AND COME HOLLA @ ME IN THE SUPER BOWL!!!! He can ball reasonably well with mid level teams. Falls apart with Low teams. Berger cannot play well with mid level and crumbles beyond recognition with low level.

top to bottom, it is just bad Take top level players v eachother #1 Lord over #1 opus #2 Brooks over #2 Sowa (closest matchup) #3 Lefty over #3 cdr #4 Arco over #4...Berger? #5 Coolpop over #5 BPK? #6 MrTecmo over #6 Tony? #7 Eamons over #7 Fat Paul Divi alignment is pretty OFF. Domination will continue. Once the freak players leave WTF (Cunningham, Montanatype) it will be devastating.

Berger - QB Eagles = Opus - Barry! Not True at all. Opus is a good player. Without BearDog he would still ball reasonably well. Gimmicky? Yes. However, Opus is a solid defender, while his offense is a gimmicky. Berger on the other hand is a joke defender and a less than average offensive player. 4 out of 5 times, Great D will get you through when nominal O will not.

Haha, Kid is still bitter over not being able to cover +27.5 in the playoffs. As for "win w/out QB Eagles". I'm 1-0 in WTF play w/out him vs Swamp (who I might add went 13-0 last season vs the likes of EVERYONE but me and Opus). Elkins came in and won the game for me vs CPR as well last season. As for other leagues, Kid got me stuck in D-3 LTFL, which I won, and barring a fumble in the 4th quarter I was taking TSBGOD to OT in the playoffs in that league as well w/ Dave Krieg @ QB and I'm in the lead in D-2 this year also. I'm 3-0 in the TBL, I'm a solid 4-1 in the NTL w/ QB Eagles (not my fault he fell into my lap), and my AWFUL team in the OSTL is trucking along @ 3-2 w/ two losses to BigMv who is pretty solid. Be that as it may, those of you who wanna see me win w/out Eagles in the WTF, you might just have to wait a while, b/c unfortunately for you.... I DO have QB Eagles, and you NFC promoters should be thanking the tecmo Gods that Barry got hurt or you might be 0-2 in Super Bowls..... and like I said before, wake me when the playoffs get here and come holla @ me in the Super Bowl where I'll be defending my crown.... note the sig

Berger apparently you must start Mike Elkins for 16 games and in the playoffs if you ever wish to garner respect in the WTF.
