AFC South Outlook:
WTF Season 4 Outlook By Oiler owner himself, Lefty. AFC South: BigFatPaulie-Cleveland Browns. Defending WTF Champ is back at it. He had one helluva season and is ready to go again. There were definitely doubts about how far this Browns team would go, but he proved to the whole WTF community that he could lead his team to a WTF Super Bowl Ring. Just recently adding Barry Sanders to the Browns roster was a huge help to lead this team to the super bowl. Hoping to give Barry some more running room in the backfield, Paulie drafted , rookie Mike Compton. Compton will be a big improvement to this Brown Offensive line and should hope to try and take this Browns team to another Super Bowl victory. Sowa- New Orleans Saints. Second in WTF season 3 was the Saints. Controlled by an improved Sowa player. This Saints offense ran by a speedy Marion Butts, and a runnin’ and gunnin’ Don Majkowski. Hoping to help out Ashley Ambrose and Cornelius Bennett, in the first round the Saints drafted Linebacker Greg Biekert. Biekert is a fast and average hitting Linebacker and should work well with his new fellow teammate Bennett. In the backfield he also is working with a “snagging” Gary Reasons. With the pickup of Greg Biekert, Reasons can control the short field while Biekert can hang with the wideouts. However, will this pick help out Sowa and the Saints? CDR- Atlanta Falcons. Finishing 3rd in the AFC south is my man CDR. CDR has a great team, possibly one of the best out there. With a diesel offense, Marinovich, Rookie,Jerome Bettis, and Curtis Duncan, and on the opposite end has 3 top defensive backs in the league. With pick # 7 in the first round, CDR and the Falcons selected Jerome Bettis. Much like a Honky Okoye, this just adds more destruction to the Falcon Offense. We shall see an upgrade in this Falcon team this upcoming season. Altony-Miami Dolphins. Altony finished fourth in the division right behind the Falcons. This Miami team is set with plenty of talent but lacking at the Quarterback spot. This Miami team has Brett Favre and John Elway. Two of the best legend QB’s of all time. However, their pass control really isn’t that great. With the stacked defenses of this league, you know they’ll be up there for int’s thrown. In round one of the draft, Altony was straight bangin’ bitches, therefore couldn’t attend his pick. I think, it was towards the beginning of the second or nearly the end of the first until he could finally get his pick in. With this late pick, he drafted Line backer Marvin Jones. Only 44 max speed, but is a bone crusher. This will be good for blowing up low HP running backs and WR’s for run plays. With this pick up, I’m sure he’ll only upgrade at his Linebacker spot and place Broderick Thomas on the Practice squad, and move Marvin into the starting lineup. Hopefully with this pick, Jones will help increase the Dolphins 1994 record. Sstruck- New England Patriots. Last but not least is Sstruck and the New England Patriots. The Pats had a tough season only winning 2 games, but will try and bounce back this season. With the loss of the retired Dave Krieg, Sstruck was in need of a Quarterback. Luckily there were a few studs out there. With Sstrucks first pick of the draft, he drafted QB Mark Brunell. Mark Brunell is no JJ’n Krieg, but definitely can gun the ball a lot faster. Mark Brunell should find his place in New England just as if he was home. Brunell is a big upgrade and will try to lead the Pats to a better/happier season.
