thanks for the MVP ballot, arn. unfortunately because there was an error in the wk 16 game Kelly only ended up with a stat line like this:
72/106, 1538 yds, 26 TDs, 1 INT for a rating of 196.97
add on 118 yds on 25 scrambles with 3 rushing TDs

Obviously I am biased but I think Rodney Peete's name needs to be in the MVP consideration. His stats were quite impressive for a 44 PC Qb.
71/102 70% 1468 Yards 16 TDs 2 Int 164.1 QB Rating
703 Rush Yards 6 Rush TDs

With the talents that Peete has to work with an amazing season to say the least!
Kelly, a far much better specimen outside of MS had an amazing season, one for the record books that set the standards only to try to be duplicated then attempted to be passed in seasons yet to come.
Peete - Woodie w/ Houston - Emmitt Smith - Greg LLoyd round out the top five w/ Emmitt and Peete in a VERY close race for 2nd!
Woodie, without being in a playoff race hurt his chances but stilll a nice season, just a little too low on YPC - about 2 - 3 below the top 4 or 5 guys at RB.
Great job though Rodney Peete, it was an amazing season! Next year open the season w/ Buff vs Clevland and try to knock Kelly onto the disabled list for a couple of weeks giving Peete a little more room to work with! LOL
WTG Brooks, you the man!

Rookie of the year
Robert "The Rook" Brooks

I think rookie of the year is a close one between Jeff Blake and Jimmy Smith. Brooks had a solid year but Smith had more catches/yards/TDs and his team had best record in WTF.
MVP probably between Bills and Emmitt.

All i want is not to have woodside get fucked over of anything  Finished 2nd in yards(missed by 7) lowest of grade B, and finished first in TD's. (37) I think the closest to him was 27. But who knows, i didnt work my wood off for nothing this season.

Ernest Givins Will be the league's only 2000 yard receiver and will have about 25 TD's. (and an over 40 yards per catch). His receiving season this year may never be duplicated...

dd If i was voting, i would have to take a teams overall record into consideration. MVP's usually don't come from teams that miss the playoffs.

Nope MVPs dont come from .500 ballclubs. Talk to me when he helps lead his team to the playoffs!
